Informal education promotes active learning that encourages reflection, critical thinking, and conversation between learners. This 2 hour workshop will provide information on the different education resources offered by local museums and cultural institutions that can be added to your current curriculum. These resources include school field trips, classroom outreach programs, and more. This workshop will bring together local informal learning institutions to provide information on the many great resources they offer to all educators. Educators will have a chance to meet with each institution individually to go over these resources in detail before having a chance to brainstorm ways to incorporate these great assets into next year's curriculum!
